It rises 82 metres above the sea level. It also boasts excellent facilities on the coast, with a vibrant and busy tourist spot; you will find restaurants, bars and numerous other facilities here also.

Sellia Marina is an excellent base to explore this wonderful coastline and surrounding areas, as it situation allows you to explore the beautiful sea side resort of Catazaro Lido and Catazaro City which is the administrative capital of Calabria, as well as explore the beautiful coastline of Isola Capo Rizzuto, with its iconic town of Le Castella. There area also good public transport links with a train station in Sellia Marina, with connections to Lamezia with mainline routes throughout Italy.
